Supporting pet owners on budgets
Mission
To prototype an app that can help pet owners make the best decisions to benefit their budgets and pet healthcare needs.
Research
After observing pet health competitors and interviewing two multi-pet owners, proposed features would stem from features that fail to exist, and what users would need to trust an app to help them with their pet-care decisions.
outcome
With an accesible and approachable UI design, PetWise provides a non-judgemental and informative approach to budget-friendly pet care. Features allow users to set monthly budget, filter through products and services that meet pet needs, and to scan and match products in-store. Additionally, an AI-powered preventative health tool allows users to discuss specific pet issues, allowing them to evaluate whether or not a trip to the vets is worthwhile.
